Registration process

If you have already created a profile on EasyChair to submit an abstract, please use the same login (your institutional email address) when registering. After selecting your conference options, payment must be completed online by credit card; no other payment method is available. An invoice confirming your registration will be sent to your email address once the payment has been successfully processed.

For ISCB Members: during the registration process, you will be asked to log in to the ISCB homepage (via the blue header) before continuing with your registration.

For SIB Members: to benefit from the special registration rate, please register using the same email address as the one listed in the SIB Directory. Memberships will be verified after registration. If a different email address is used and we cannot confirm your SIB Membership, we may contact you to adjust the registration fee or update the registration details. Please select the appropriate membership option in step 2 of the registration process "I am an SIB employee/member".

For LS2 Members: members of the Bioinformatics intersection benefit from reduced registration fees, equivalent to the SIB member rate. Please select the appropriate membership option in step 2 of the registration process : "I am an LS2 member".

Important dates

  • 5 March 2026 - Opening of the early-bird registration
  • 1 April 2026 - Normal registration fees apply
  • 1 July 2026 - Late registration fees apply
  • 14 August 2026 - Registration closes
  • 31 August 2026 - On-site registration 


Note: Unless otherwise stated, all dates and deadlines are given in Central European Time (CET) and end at midnight (23:59 CET).

Registration fees

The ECCB registration fee covers all conference sessions, lunch, coffee breaks, and social events (except the Conference party on Tuesday 1 September). Tutorials and workshops on 3 September require separate booking, select the option during registration. All speakers, poster presenters, tutorials, workshops, and social activities will be on-site.

Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in written form and sent to "info@eccb2026.org" for review and processing, prior to the start of the conference and accompanied by appropriate documentation. 

Cancellations are subject to the following regulations:

  • Cancellation until 3 August: 50% of the registration fees will be reimbursed.
  • Cancellation after 3 August: no registration fee will be reimbursed, unless a medical certificate is provided.

A letter of invitation for the VISA can be requested on this webpage once registration has been paid and confirmed.
