The European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB) is returning to Switzerland. From 31 August to 4 September 2026, ECCB 2026 will take place in Geneva, a global hub at the intersection of science, diplomacy, and innovation.

Organized by the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, ECCB 2026 will bring together the international computational biology community for five days of cutting-edge science, exchange, and collaboration. Researchers, clinicians, data scientists, and industry experts from around the world will meet to explore the latest advances in bioinformatics and computational biology, and to shape the future of data-driven life sciences.

The January newsletter is now available and includes key information about the conference, upcoming calls, and what to expect from ECCB 2026.
