Presentation guidelines
Presentation language: English
Presentation duration:
- Proceedings talks: 15-minute presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions
- Highlight talks: 15-minute presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions
- Invited and Keynote talks: please refer to the Schedule at a glance for the date, time, room and duration of your presentation.
Presentation Slides
- Aspect ratio: 16:9.
- Accepted formats: PowerPoint (.pptx) and PDF.
- Slide design: Please ensure your slides are colour-blind friendly. For guidance, see the Poster presentations.
- Submission deadline: All presentations must be submitted to the Speakers' Preview Centre as early as possible and no later than 2 hours before your scheduled presentation.
- File naming: Please name your presentation file using the following format: Room_Day_Time_LastName (e.g. AD_Tuesday_1015_Smith.pptx or AD_Tuesday_1015_Smith.pdf).
- Videos: If your presentation includes videos, please submit each video as a separate MP4 file, named Room_Day_Time_LastName_video1.mp4 (e.g. AD_Tuesday_1015_Smith_video1.mp4).
Speaker preview centre opening hours:
- Sunday, 30 August: 16:00–18:00
- Monday, 31 August: 08:00–17:30
- Tuesday, 1 September: 08:00–17:30
- Wednesday, 2 September: 08:00–16:00
On the day of your presentation
- Please arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session.
- Upon arrival, please introduce yourself to the Session Chairs.
- The front row, next to the Session Chair's desk, will be reserved for presenters.
- Presentations must be delivered in person using the conference computer. The use of personal laptops during scientific sessions is not permitted.
- Please respect your allocated presentation time.
- A presentation clicker will be provided to advance your slides.
- A confidence monitor displaying your current slide will be available on stage.
Important information
- Check your presentation time and room in the Parallel Sessions Schedule.
- Upload your presentation at the Speaker Preview Center at least 2 hours before your presentation.
- Be in your session room 10 minutes before the start of your session.
- Please respect your allocated presentation time (15-minute presentation + 3-minute discussion) for proceedings and highlight talks.
