Keynote lecture by Stephen Quake: Understanding the mysteries of the cell
Posted on 10 April 2026
Join us on Tuesday 1 September, 14:00-15:00, for the keynote lecture “Understanding the mysteries of the cell: how do many cell types arise from one genome?” by Stephen Quake from Stanford University.
How can a single genome generate the vast diversity of cell types in the human body? A pioneer in genomics and bioengineering, he will present how cutting-edge DNA sequencing, single-cell analysis, and non-invasive diagnostics are helping decode cellular diversity and better understand how biological complexity arises from a shared genetic blueprint.
