#GenevaLovesData: bringing life-science data to the heart of the city
Posted on 6 April 2026
In 2026, Geneva will become a vibrant stage for life-science data. With the launch of #GenevaLovesData, we are bringing data beyond computers and into public spaces, creating opportunities for everyone to engage with science.
Running alongside the ECCB 2026 conference (31 August to 4 September), the initiative will feature an open-air exhibition in August, a public outreach event on the first day of the conference, and interactive experiences that highlight how data shapes health, the environment, and innovation.
By sharing the stories behind scientific data, #GenevaLovesData showcases Geneva’s unique role at the intersection of science, diplomacy, and global governance, while emphasising the value of trusted, high-quality data for society.
